Last week I was too busy to scrap, due to birthdays and other commitments. Whenever I go a week without scrapping, I tend to lose my scrappy mojo, and that’s exactly what happened this week. So last night I headed down to my scrap room in the hopes of finding some type of inspiration to get me scrapping again. I found said inspiration in Vicki’s (MeLoveBono on YouTube) contest:
Now Vicki is about the sweetest thing on YouTube, so be sure to check out her channel if you haven’t already. Her challenge is due the 18th of June, so there’s still time to enter. The challenge is to use at least 3 pictures, to use at least one stamp, and to tell a story. I’m not sure if you had to tell a story on the layout, or in your video describing the layout, but I’m doing both, just to be sure.
If you watch the process video for this one (posted below) you’ll see that this one was not the easiest to create. I basically scrapped the whole thing (pardon the pun) and started all over again midway into the layout. But I do like how it turned out:

I was trying to kill my Studio Calico 35mm kit (and the Lomography add-on) because the June kit arrived yesterday. That green background paper (does it look green on your screen? It looks kinda yellow on mine) is from the On The Bright Side collection from My Mind’s Eye. I am liking MME more and more these days.
