So the wedding was wonderful and now I have some more great photos to scrap!  I feel like I haven’t done a layout in ages (I actually just did one the other day- but it’s not for me)!  I’ve done 3 sets of ATCs for the swap I’m in, but I’m aiming to do another 4 sets before the deadline.  I will put the 3 sets in my slideshow above, or maybe make an ATC slideshow soon.  I *might* get some scrapping done tonight, or at least on Friday night.  I received some goodies which I actually ordered (and paid for) a long time ago, so it feels like freebies!  I have to make a few more things for the big project that I’m almost done with as well.  And a few cards for clients who have fiished up with me.

And THEN… it’s on to do my Christmas projects.  I think I’ve decided against making all my own cards.  I will likely make a few, but I found a box of unused cards from a previous year, so I would like to get those used up.  I am making some altered photo frames (4 of them), some calendars (from iphoto), a framed layout, and some home made candy and stuff.  Wow.  As I write this I realise how out of character it is for me to be so crafty!  I’ve never made hand made things before and now almost all my Christmas presents will be homemade this year!  It reminds me of our “no buy” Christmas from a few years ago.  It was so nice to not have to think about presents and not have to be shopping in the stores before the holiday.  Maybe we’ll aim for a “low buy” Christmas this year.

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
