I don’t know about you, but I just love it when a scrappy product gets me excited to create.  So I thought I would start a blog feature where I can share my very favourite new-to-me finds.  I probably won’t post one every single Friday, but at least one Friday a month, I’ll share one of the Fabulous Finds I’ve been playing with and tell you why I think it’s so fabulous.

So, without further ado, here is my first Fab Find:

Kelly Purkey Alphabet stickers in white, cream, red, and teal blue

These Kelly Purkey letter stickers are the best thing since sliced bread!  Not only do I love the skinny block font, but I also love the size and the colours!  As I said on the Paperclipping Round Table a few weeks ago, I could totally letter my life in these stickers!  They come on a 6X12 sheet (so you can easily store them with your Mini Markets, Jenni Bowlin, etc- I love standard sized products for easy storage), and there are plenty of each letter on the sheet.  Each letter is about 1/4 inch wide and 1/2 inch tall, so they are perfect for Project Life and for subtitles on layouts.

But you know what I love about them the most?  When you peel them off the sheet, the little trapped space pieces don’t come off with the letter! I know, it doesn’t take much to excite me, does it?  But I can’t stand getting those tiny sticker bits stuck all over my hands and work surface!

Look at that little shape inside the loop of the “p” – it’s staying put on the backing!

You can only get these bad boys at Simon Says Stamp, but luckily they have great shipping rates to Canada (and elsewhere, I would presume).  The link I provided above actually links to all of Kelly Purkey’s products.  I’m a huge fan of her designs, and am constantly checking that category at SSS to see if anything new has been added.

Here’s a 4X6 Project Life card I made today using these fabulous letter stickers:

So what fabulous products get you excited to scrap?

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
