This week’s sketch over at Nuts About Sketches was so much fun to work with! Here’s the sketch:
and here’s what I came up with:
I used my first Studio Calico kit (March- Story Teller) as well as stuff from my stash for this one. I got a new Instax camera this month, and there were some of my first little pics from it, so I wanted to scrap them, even though they don’t really tell a particular story or relate to one another in any way other than that they were my first Instax shots, and they were all of my family. So I decided to use a little play on words (my father would be proud) for the title. Most of the papers were from the kit, but the red diamond scraps (that match the blue diamonds paper that came in the kit) was Studio Calico paper I already had in my scrap bin. The camera was cut out from another piece of Studio Calico paper I had in my stash as well (from the Documentary collection).
The title was cut from a left over scrap of woodgrain paper from the Saturday collection by Little Yellow Bicycle (provided by scrapbooksuppliesonline.com.au), using my new Silhouette Cameo. The font is called KI Giraffe Fill.
