Hey, remember these?

Untitled
Stickles: The forgotten hero of the craft room

I have little bottles of them in every colour under the sun, but they sit in a little box tucked away in a drawer in my scraproom.  I pulled them out today while playing with my Scraptastic kit (Destination Unknown), and I just love how they look layered over a coat of Mister Huey’s on these chipboard feathers.  They also really jazzed up the diecut piece from the kit, making it look like it was cut from a piece of POW glitter paper!

The down side of course, is that Stickles take eons to dry and you cannot use your heat gun to speed up the process (it dulls the glitter).  I am writing this post as I wait for these pieces to dry, but it got me thinking… I wonder what other treasured scrappy supplies I’ve forgotten about?  What are some oldies but goodies that you find yourself still reaching for?

Here’s a glimpse of the layout I’m working on before the Stickled pieces are added:

Have a good scrappy week!

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
