It seems like I’m always late for things in paper crafting. I dragged my feet in realizing that I needed a Cricut, my scrap stash was flower-free until 2010, and now here I am 3 years into this hobby and until Sunday I had never ordered from Stampin Up. I had come close several times and even had a demonstrator come to my house but never actually ordered anything myself! I’ve been making a lot of cards and boxes and stuff for Christmas (and for Glitzy Chix, more on that later) so my stash of cardstock was dwindling (oh the horror!) so I decided to take the plunge and find me a Stampin Up dealer… I mean demonstrator (although card stock is admittedly my drug of choice lately). I called her to arrange for a visit and she mentioned I could order online at the same rates as ordering through her and get all the benefits etc.. I assured her I wouldn’t be ordering THAT much this time but I might place a small order that night. About N hour later I had earned reward points and a hostess gift. Uh oh. Maybe they should call them dealers because I’m hooked! Now all I have to do is wait for my huge parcel to arrive and plan for the addition to my house that I’ll need to accommodate all the cardstock I bought. Well at least I’ll always have cards on hand.

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
