Special Events and Perks for Tiaras (Patreon Supporters)
1/ Livestreams: These are monthly Livestream scrap-with-me events for Tiaras. They are basically chatty, interactive realtime videos of me making a page or project, and are scheduled for 2-3 hours but often run longer (7 hours is the longest so far!). My Livestreams feature challenges, themes, and sometimes a giveaway from my stash! Be there, or be square (a 12×12 square, of course!)! An unlisted link and information about the stream will be posted to Patreon half an hour before the stream begins. Feel free to join us for the Pre-stream chat! Livestreams are privately streamed to YouTube, and it is preferable that you watch on the YouTube website or in the YouTube App so you can participate in and see the live chat. There is a video at the bottom of this page that shows how to do this. To keep it interactive, I encourage you to also post and share to our Discord Server while watching the Livestream, so we can all see what we’re all working on. The Discord server (called Tiara Talk Community) usually has a topic started about the Livestream before it begins and it will contain any sketches, challenges, or information you may need to know about the Live (for example, if I think I can go overtime).
2/ Monthly Tiara Zoom Chat: A Zoom call for Tiaras where we talk about how our month of crafting has gone, what we’re working on, our challenges, scrappy industry news, and how we are staying motivated to document our stories!
Dress code: super casual- PJs encouraged!
Cameras optional, no pressure to talk!
Zoom details will be posted to Patreon 30 minutes prior to the call.
*Note: I’m trying out the pyjama party idea for a few months to see if it fits into my work-life schedule and to see how much interest there is in it. I can’t guarantee that it will continue in its current form, beyond the summer.
3/ Tiara Talk Discord Server: This is an online community where we can chat with one another and post information about scrapbooking. We use it during Livestreams as mentioned above, but it’s also a great place to just chat with like-minded scrappy people. It’s also where I host occasional giveaways, since Patreon only allows contests, not true randomized giveaways. The channel is exclusive to Tiaras, and sometimes extra content may be posted there, so be sure to sign up for Discord using the same email you used for Patreon so you can access that content. Currently (April 2023) there is a challenge with a $20 prize, so be sure to check it out.
4/ Video content:
a/ Tiaras get early, ad-free access to my edited process videos (about a week early). After the video goes live, ads will appear in the video, so be sure to watch within that week! You will also get ad-free early access to some of my other content, including scraproom tours.
b/ I also post unedited real-time versions of my edited process videos, exclusive to Tiaras. These are regular speed, and are occasionally broadcast Live to Tiaras only. They do include gaps for breaks (because of the way my workflow is set up I cannot pause while filming these), but I mark the breaks with a full screen image so you can easily scrub through them.
c/ Behind the Scenes (BTS) videos of my process. Usually these videos show me working out the details of a new technique, trying out new products, or working out new organisation strategies.
