Ok, so I’ve fallen hopelessly behind on my blog, so I thought I’d just post all the pics and vids of the layouts I did in December all in one post. The videos will explain how I created them, but if you have any questions, just drop me a line. All of these were using the 34th Street Kit from Studio Calico and the Penn Station and Herald Square add ons, as well as stuff from my stash.
First up, a layout and a half about my 40th birthday:
I didn’t want to put my journalling anywhere on the layout, so I made a separate half page for the journalling:
Here’s the process video:
Next Up:
When I saw that red constellation paper, I thought that although I loved the colour, I would never find a use for such a specific themed paper. Little did I know we’d get a telescope!
…and the process video:
Next I used the kit and some goodies CoraLee sent me to create a fun layout with more traditional Christmas colours:
I used letter stickers for some abbreviated journalling on the side here:
and I included a strip of out-takes from the photo shoot:
Vellum, sewing, twine and glitter all add texture to the layout:
… and here’s how it all came together:
Then I made one with a less traditional feel:
This one used mostly embellishments and letters from the kit. Most of the papers are from the Crate Paper Sleigh Ride collection. Love the colours in that collection!
That tree, which totally makes the title card was also from CoraLee
An here’s the process 🙂
