This is a different layout for me, but I had a lot of fun creating it.  The whole layout was inspired by the “click” set of badges from Life in Bits and Pieces.  I love the colour of these badges, and the images are super cute!  I had these 2 small Instagram photos of the girls in a candy shop and wanted to figure out a way to combine the square photos with a circle motif.  I drew the blue colour from the badges, as well as the tiny bit of yellow from the one of the badges.

This layout has been slightly updated since this pic was taken.  See the final layout at the end of the process video below

I cut the circles using my Cameo and layered them over a piece of blue grid paper from the Everyday Eclectic collection by Echo Park (my current favourite collection).

I used bits from the Studio Calico Roller Rink kit, and lots of stickers from the Everyday Eclectic collection

Oooh, that camera!  LOVE it!

The Hello mini clothes pin adds lots of dimension.

Stickers, wood veneers, and enamel dots were repeated throughout

Here’s my process vid.  Be sure to at least skim to the end to see the final layout.  I went back and added some colour to the title.

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
