Wow, I’ve fallen way behind on my blog, so the next several posts will be just catch-up for those of you who don’t follow my YouTube channel.

One of my favourite places to scrappy shop is Scrapbooking Cafe Online which is dangerously close to my home, and run by a fabulous gal named Kristy, who rescues cats in addition to being a busy mom and running a business! (holy run-on sentence!!)  Olivia loves to join me when I go to browse her store, because there are always lots of cats and kittens milling around the house.  On our last visit, I managed to snap this shot of Livie cuddling with Kiwi and Squash, who were only 3 weeks old at the time!  I’m pleased to report that we only came home with scrapbook supplies, but hopefully the kittens will find a good home soon. Can you spot the Spellbinders in the background of the picture?

I love that Overdue Mister Hueys is a shade of red that does not look like blood splatter (before I started buying Mister Hueys, I used to have a red glimmer mist that looked to me like a CSI team should bust through my craftroom door any second!).

And here’s the process:

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
