This is my system for storing paper. It works really well for how I scrapbook, and it just might work for you, too! The most important thing about storing paper is that you find a system that works for you so you can find the paper you need when you need it, and not forget what you have. When I think about paper, I usually know which collection has the types of patterns I’m looking for, so this system works for me. It can of course be simplified to include less variables if you like (I sort by collection, manu/category, and colour which is probably a lot for some people). The main element of storing papers vertically and including some tabs to sort them and allow for easy “browsing” can be adapted to meet your own paper storage needs.

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
