Today I got a chance to create a quick layout using the Colorblind kit from the Scraptastic Kit Club.  I started with a piece of grey card stock which I had misted using the Jillibean Soup die cut as a mask.  I did the misting during my last scrappy session, as I knew I would wanted some misted backgrounds using the die cut, but I also wanted to cut into the die cut for my previous layout.  Here is what I came up with this morning:

Using a 4X6 photo and the Colorbind kit

I anchored my title on one of the Crate Paper frames which I filled with a piece of vellum from my stash

That deer die cut from the Finley collection (from Glitz) is one of my favourite things in the kit!  I was happy to get to use it today

I love how the corner cluster gave me a spot to put my tiny bit of journalling

Yummy layers in my favourite holiday colours: Lime, red, white, and grey

… and here is the process video for this layout:

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
