Today I had some fun with the Scraptastic Never Tear Us Apart kits and the Blackbird add on.  I added some wood veneers and letter stickers from my own stash as well:

I even added some washi tape from the This Life Noted kit (the triangle mosaic strips along the top and bottom of the layout).

This cluster of wood veneers is the only area of embellishment on the whole layout

I usually don’t overly embellish layouts that feature Scott’s photography, as I want his work to stand on its own.

I journaled on the waffle paper (from Stampin Up!)

I do find it difficult to journal an event that I didn’t attend.  I was home sewing doll clothes with my friend Stephanie while Scott attended Nocturne.  So in case you were wondering, now you know which of us is the cooler person in our relationship 😉

The stars won’t look green once I get another coat of yellow Stickles on them

The moon and clouds stamp from the Scraptastic Blackbird set was perfect for this layout.

I added staples and a vellum heart to the title for a bit more interest,
especially since there was only one embellishment cluster
Here is the process video for this one (it’s taking awhile to process, pls try again later if it does’t work right away):

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
