If you haven’t heard already, Scraptastic Kit Club is celebrating their 3rd anniversary this weekend!

Untitled
I have created 3 extra layouts and videos this month using the July kits which I will share with you this weekend.  Since I had already created lots of layouts with these kits, all three of these pages were created from mostly scraps, which is a fun and quick way to get some layouts done.

First up, a layout about my love of flip flops and sandals:

This layout was created from the Rock Lobster kits, and features lots of the I Heart Summer collection by Simple Stories.

I love to cut banners from my scraps to get even more mileage from a kit

Using punches, dies, and masks can breathe new life into papers that you’ve used on other layouts

Layouts created from scraps can look flat, so I like to add dimension using brads, enamel dots, and pop-dots

And here is the process video for this layout:

I’ll be back in a couple of hours with the second instalment, and another layout and process video using up my July kits.  In the meantime, head on over the the Scraptastic website and check out the challenges and games going on in the Forum.

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
