Over the past few weeks I’ve been getting a start on my Christmas cards, trying to make my own designs this year. Here’s what I came up with in addition to the 3 Trees/Tassimo card posted yesterday:

Comfort and Joy Window Card

All supplies for this card: Stampin’ Up!  Holly Berry Designer Series Paper; Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso card stock; Old Olive ribbon; circle and scallop circle punches; Word Play stamp set; wild wasabi, real red, early espresso stampin’ write marker.

Pines and Poinsettias Card

All supplies for this card: Stampin’ Up!  Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla cardstcok; Old Olive ribbon; Circle punches and decorative label punch; Pines and Poinstettias stamp set; Early Espresso, real red, and old Olive Stampin’ Write markers; Snow Burst embossing folder

Tree card

I made this card at a stampin’ up event, so it is not my design.  Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder; Old Olive, cherry Cobbler, and Whisper White cardstock; Cherry Cobbler seam binding (Love it!!), Petite Pennants builder punch, Pennant Parade stamp set.

Then a few fall cards as well:

Warmest Wishes (Autumn)

This is a lift from the Stampin’ Up! holiday mini catalogue.  I used the Warmest Wishes stamp set, perfect polka dots embossing folder, stampin write markers, soft suede, Old Olive, and crumb cake cardstock.

You’re in my heart card (for mom)

This is a card I made for my mom today (she was going to visit today).  It was plain orange background, but then I changed my mind and added the velum insert part (not sure the technical term).  That addition made this card go from bland to wow- just what I needed because this card was supposed to be a pick me up for my mom who is having some health problems… so a bland card simply would not do!!  I stamped and cut out the leaves and punched the scalloped border.  Then I cut out a window, and placed the stamped velum behind it.

Pumpkin 3X3 card

This last one was made with a few tiny scraps… I love that you can make such a cute card with hardly any supplies!  c

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
