Next, I have a fun and easy layout to share with you:
Created with the Scraptastic Carry On kit and Add-on |
This layout was a breeze to make, using the Scraptastic Carry On kit and add-on. The fabulous pic of my oldest daughter’s excited reaction to counting her money was the starting point. The idea of counting money led me to spread the cut out numbers from the Simple Stories paper all around the left side of the layout.
Silhouette cut title for a tone-on-tone look |
Because this layout was going to be pretty simple and unlayered, I wanted a title that was a little different from my standard letter sticker schtick. The yellow Bazzill cardstock in the kit was a perfect match to the yellow honeycomb paper, so I decided to cut a tone-one-tone title using my Silhouette Cameo. I sewed the letters with gold thread and pulled them up for shadowed dimension.
perfectly random |
I added a few stickers from the kit and Thicker numbers from my stash here and there for added interest.
You don’t see a lot of the ink splatter in the final result, but I do like the added effect. With simple layouts, the beauty is in the details.
Here’s the video showing how it all came together:
