Around here, November is pretty grey… well, that is up until it becomes white. But I actually enjoy this narrow window of in-between weather characterized by grey skies, wet pavement, and light winds. It’s cold enough to need a jacket, but not a parka. Mitts and a hat are comfy and cozy fashion accessories, but not required. It’s cool enough to keep a spark in your step, but not so cold to make you shiver. People are relaxed… the stress of the beginning of school and Halloween are over, but the bustle of the next holiday hasn’t set in yet. The calm of November is underwhelming, and I think that’s exactly why I like it so much.
