I got to chat with Ali Edwards, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Noel, and Izzy this afternoon!  Check it out, on the Paperclipping Round Table:

What are they into lately?

It was so much fun to be on this show!  I think Julie (who I have loved since I first started scrapbooking- she was the first person I followed in the scrappy world) had some really interesting things to say, especially about her “mis en place” approach to scrapbooking.  Definitely some “food for thought” (groan!), as well as her ideas about the pillars of truth we all have that we base our scrapping on, and how the more we do this craft the more comfortable we become in our scrappy selves.  The concept of simplifying definitely bubbled up as a common theme.

I don’t really feel like I had as much substance to add to the topic because I’m not the scrappy powerhouses the other 2 are, but it was a lot of fun, and if you want to hear a fun, casual chat about scrapbooking, you should really check it out!

I’m realising that I didn’t blog about my first time on the PRT – I scrapbooked it, Facebooked it, instagrammed it, screamed it from the rooftops, but I didn’t blog it!  So if you missed it, here it is (the topic was everyday scrapbooking):

Crackers in their soup

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
