This morning I did this quick layout, using almost entirely Stampin’ Up! supplies:
The photo is a self-portrait Scott took jumping on our trampoline in the middle of the night (he was testing out his new lights and other photography equipment)
I used the Tickets and Tags Simply Scrappin kit for this layout. I used the Basic Gray textured cardstock in the kit for my background and misted it with Smooch Spritz (Silver Foil). I wasn’t quite enough contrast on the gray cs, so I added some black glimmer mist as well. I really like how it glistens like the light in the photo glistens off the trampoline mesh.
I added elements from the kit, as well as some circle punches from paper in the kit, distressing the edges of everything with Basic Gray ink.
I used up some Crumb Cake corduroy buttons, but I coloured them with some reinker and alcohol in a mister (see my process video for info). I already had the solution made up so it was easy, and it dries really fast because of the alcohol. I actually don’t have Baja Breeze reinker, so I used marina Mist, and it looks close enough to me. I also used some really cool metal star brads (very heavy duty hardware here!).
The ticket is die cut with my (NEW!!) Big Shot (I’m selling my Cuttlebug) using the “Lots of Tags” Sizzlits dies, which I think is a Stampin’ Up! exclusive. It has 5 really cool tags, and this is only one of them… I can’t wait to use the others! I typed the first part of the title on the ticket using my typewriter, then finished the title with some really old Making Memories chipboard letters. Love using up old stash!
