My poor neglected blog has been missing out on so many of my projects lately, so I thought I would start the catch-up process with my September and October pocket pages. Lately I’ve been scrapping one single back to back pocket page per month and putting the pages right in my regular scrapbook.  Here is the front of my September page:

I used the This Life Noted kit from Scraptastic for these pages, and I love how it allowed me to get a full spread done fairly quickly. The cards are so beautiful all by themselves, that you can easily just add some minimal embellishments and journaling and have a pretty spread that documents the month.

Some thread and the camera wood veneer from the kit were all this card needed to serve as an introduction to our weekend trip.

I love how the kits come with so many embellies that you can personalize as much or as little as you like and never ever run our of embellishments.

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
