Quickest PL spread ever!

One of the scrappy things I was looking most forward to this month is getting a chance to play with the Project Life kit from the Scraptastic Kit Club.  I was most excited about how nicely all the cards coordinate with one another, and I was anxious to see if it would cut down on the time it takes me to put together a spread.  Here’s what the kit looks like:

And here is my 2 page spread covering early June:

Project Life (Early June 2013)

I’m pretty relaxed about my approach to Project Life.  I basically put things in pockets whenever I feel like it, and don’t worry too much about missing things.  It usually ends up that I have about 2 spreads per month, but I don’t really keep track, nor do I use title cards.

I am loving the “not shown” stamp that came in the kit (top left cell)!

I used a few papers and stickers from my stash, but most of the spread comes from the kit.  The “It’s going to be a good day” card is one of my all time favourite cards, so all I did was add a few sequins that came in the kit.  It’s gorgeous just as it is!

I love that PL captures the changing of the seasons: so much of the outdoors here!

Here are a few closeups, and then the video share of the spread:

I’m trying to remember to use my mists in PL… the soccer title uses Mister Huey’s and Heidi Swapp mists

Resisting the urge to hoard enamel dots- putting them under the die cut piece

I’m loving this kit so far, and I still have lots left to play with!  Be sure to check out the Scraptastic website, and email Jessica at members@scraptasticclub.com if you’d like to order your kit for July!

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
