This is a layout I created this week using an old photo of my sister and I that has been kicking around my various offices since 1999! It is nice to finally get it scrapped (note the pushpin hole in the photo- it’s my only copy)!

Polishing off the Central High kit |
The background paper is the stone coloured cardstock that came in the kit. I think this colour is a nice alternative to white. When viewing it online, it makes the photo look like it’s underexposed, but in real life it looks great.
The title is made of Amy Tangerine Lovely Thickers, Ali Thickers, and Jillibean Soup alphas |
I am loving those wood veneer asterisks, and I’m almost out of them, so I’m starting to mix in some stars to stretch them out!
The yellow binder clip makes a really cool embellishment |
I used orange threaded sewing, to add some more interest and texture. I’m also running out of the wood veneer potty ladies… I sense a wood veneer stock-up coming on soon! Besides all the wood veneers there are also lots of Cameo cuts and printables (in paper and transparency). I’m really into making my own embellishments lately.
I really love how all these papers layered together |
This kit had the best neutrals ever! From the wonky chevron paper (My Mind’s Eye), to the distressed Basic Grey Clippings papers… Central High was fabulous for layering!
