It’s time for another Scraproom Sunday video.  I have no photos for you today, but please check out the video below if you are interested in how I store my letters.  I’ve been using this system for awhile now, and it works really well for my process of scrapping- maybe it’ll work for you, too!  I also include a bit about how I store those packages of loose letters (and a glimpse of how I used to store them in the past).

At the very end is a brief Public Service Announcement about a problem that’s been plaguing the scrappy world for far too long…

Here is a link to an eBay vendor who sells the clear bags in the 6X12 inch size.  They are pricey if shipping outside of the US (as I am) but $5.35 isn’t bad if shipping is better than the $15.00 I had to pay as a Canadian.  I did go ahead and buy some today as I am running low.  Even at $20 (which I know is INSANE!!!) my last pack of 100 bags lasted 2 years (here is the video from when I first started using this storage), and it is worth $10 a year to me to not have to struggle with the AC bags.  If you want to shop around for yourself on eBay, the search terms I used were “poly bags 6X12”

Mercy Tiara

Mercy Tiara

You may be wondering who is Mercy Tiara, and why the name? MercyTiara is an anagram of my first and middle names, Tracy Marie. I discovered this name in the 90's in grad school when we were all coming up with alter egos for one another in a lab one day. I've used it ever since, but you can call me Tracy or MercyTiara, or anything you want... just don't call me late for supper!
