Here are some of the everyday moment’s I’ve scrapbooked recently:
From spring 2012 |
Maya gives Glitz Designs paper garland 2 paws up! |
I snapped this shot of Sophie eating breakfast one Saturday morning |
Playing outside in the snow |
When my camera was new, I wanted to scrapbook about it, but I didn’t want to use just a boring photo of the camera, so I got Scott to take a picture of me taking a picture (of him) and I scrapped both photos on this layout |
This is what our road looked like on day in February. We thought it was pretty so we took a photo. Then this photo reminded us of the story of how much we love the Beatles album our road is named after. |
Sometimes you can’t get a great shot, but you can scrapbook about why! |
This is a common scene in our house from 7:30-8pm. Everything from the canopy, to the cat, to the book light, to the ipod on her bedside table represents what Livie’s bedtime is like at this time in her life |
This is a shot I took while Facetiming my sister. I was sitting by my window and we both noticed how cool the light looked so I stopped and took a selfie to use for this layout about my new lifestyle |
As my youngest learns to read, this is becoming a more and more frequent moment in our family |
This one captures my older daughter’s outgoing, fearless nature! |
The owner of my Local Scrapbooking Store also rescues cats. My daughter loves to come along with me so she can play with the kittens. We have a rule that only scrappy supplies come home with us! |
My youngest occasionally struggles with anxiety and her big sister is quite sensitive to knowing when she needs a bit of sisterly encouragement to face her fears. I’m so proud of them both! |
A weird lady bug we found on the trampoline |
And here are some older everyday photos scrapbooked from 2009-2011:
I so didn’t want to get rid of these shoes… even after the dog got at them. So I had to scrap them before throwing them away! |
scrapped in 2009 |
We handed down our old digital camera to Livie and we were surprised how many pics she took from inside the bike trailer on a 30 minute bike ride! |
Scrapped in 2009, this layout illustrates the 2 sides of my hubby- the analytical, and the wacky! |
lots of layouts feature Maya laying on scrapbooking supplies. It’s fun to see older products and projects laying around in these pics! |
A simple layout about a stroller. It was easier to sell this stroller once I had it scrapped! |
This is anything BUT a traditional Christmas layout! |
Another non-traditional Christmas layout about the everyday moments at Christmas time |
Scrapped in 2009. One of my all-time favourites, this layout s about how Sophie used to count. I’m SO glad I scrapped this one. I felt silly taking a pic of her eating canned soup (it wasn’t even home made soup!!), but I’m so glad I did as this story feature a quote from The Sophster would have otherwise been forgotten! |
Livie found these “bird berries” in our backyard and I just loved the look on her face here! I left room for journalling on the cardboard (a coffee sleeve) but never went back to it! |
Hangin’ out at the playground by our house |
Sophie when she’s relaxed and shy |
I made a mini-album called “A Week in the Life” which was all about my life. Each page represented a different day of the week and showed what I do in an average week (2011). The “We heart TV opens up to the pic below: |
What we watch and how we watch it |
I also included a page of the contents of my purse, as well as pages of my work schedule. There wasn’t much abotu the kids, because this mini was all about me. |
You don’t get more “everyday” than grocery shopping! |
A regular soccer practice |
A lost tooth is a bit of a special occasion |
My albums have quite a few “everyday moments” that represent Sophie facing her fears. Living with anxiety is at times a daily battle, but having these layouts reminds us of how far she has come! |
